- Mark 1st stitch of each round, moving marker up each round.
- Finished size may vary based on yarn, hook size, and tension.
- Using a "yarn under" method when working in rounds creates a tighter stitch.
- Ch 1 does not count as a stitch.
Special Stitches
Crocheting in the back bump of a ch (use this technique only when indicated in the pattern) - work the sts into the back bump of the ch

Assembly
Lightly block flower and leaves before sewing. With a yarn needle and the 8 in (20 cm) tail from the main flower, sew to the back petals staggered from the main flower so the petals do not overlap.
Using remaining tail, sew the poinsettia flower to the leaves.
With a yarn needle and the 8 in (20 cm) tail from the leaves, sew the attached poinsettia flower and leaves to the soil. Weave in all ends.
Place the soil with sewn poinsettia, fitting it into the pot. It is not necessary to attach the soil to the pot.
